Note: It is strongly recommended to backup your browser bookmarks to revert back to original bookmark settings.
Exporting Bookmarks
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the browser.
- Select Favorites.
- In the Favorites menu, click on the three-dot menu (More options) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Export favorites.
- Choose the location where you want to save the exported file and click Save. The file will be saved as an HTML file.
Importing Bookmarks
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the browser.
- Select Favorites.
- In the Favorites menu, click on the three-dot menu (More options) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Import favorites.
- In the pop-up window, choose Favorites or bookmarks HTML file from the drop-down menu.
- Click on Choose file.
- Navigate to the location where you saved the exported bookmarks file, select it, and click Open.
- Your bookmarks will be imported and added to your browser.
